The simplest card drinking game. Guess if the next card is higher or lower. Wrong? Drink.

Rules

  1. Flip one card face-up.
  2. The guesser predicts: will the next card be higher or lower?
  3. Guess right? The other person drinks. Guess wrong? You drink.
  4. Tie? Both drink.
  5. Get 3 in a row? Your opponent takes a double.
  6. Swap who guesses after every 5 cards or after a wrong guess.

Speed Facts

Needs: Nothing|Time: 10-20 min

Rapid-fire facts about each other. Hesitate or get it wrong? Drink.

Rules

  1. One person is the 'asker', the other is the 'answerer'.
  2. The asker fires off questions: favorite color, middle name, biggest fear, etc.
  3. The answerer has 3 seconds to respond.
  4. Hesitate, say 'I don't know', or answer wrong? Drink.
  5. Switch roles after 10 questions.
  6. The person who drank less wins the round.

Bounce a coin into a glass. Make it? Your opponent drinks. The original skill-based drinking game.

Rules

  1. Place a shot glass in the center of the table.
  2. Take turns bouncing a coin off the table into the glass.
  3. Make it? Your opponent drinks.
  4. Miss? Turn passes.
  5. Make 3 in a row? Create a rule the other person must follow.
  6. If either person knocks over the glass, they finish their drink.

The classic, scaled down for two. Use 6 cups per side instead of 10.

Rules

  1. Set up 6 cups in a triangle (3-2-1) on each end of a table.
  2. Take turns throwing a ping pong ball at the opponent's cups.
  3. Ball lands? Opponent drinks that cup and removes it.
  4. You get one re-rack per game.
  5. Clear all opponent cups to win. Loser finishes remaining cups.

Rules

Take a shot of beer every 60 seconds for an hour. The person who quits first loses.

Rules

  1. Set a timer or use a Power Hour playlist (song changes every 60 seconds).
  2. Every time the song changes, both players take a shot of beer.
  3. 60 shots over 60 minutes — roughly 6 beers.
  4. First person to skip a shot, spill, or quit loses.
  5. The loser faces a dare chosen by the winner.

Write rules or dares on Jenga blocks. Pull a block, do what it says. Knock it over? Finish your drink.

Rules

  1. Write different rules on each Jenga block: 'Take 2 sips', 'Truth time', 'Dare', 'Make a rule', etc.
  2. Play Jenga as normal — pull a block, read the rule, do it.
  3. If you knock over the tower, finish your entire drink.

Battleship, but with shots. Sink your opponent's ships by guessing coordinates. A hit means they drink.

Rules

  1. Each player sets up a grid (like Battleship) and places shot glasses on it as 'ships'.
  2. Take turns calling out coordinates (A3, B5, etc.).
  3. If a coordinate hits a shot glass, your opponent drinks it.
  4. First person to sink all opponent's ships wins.
  5. The loser finishes any remaining shots on their board.
